Lance has over 30 years experience in providing physical therapy in various treatment settings. He received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the US Army-Baylor University Program in Physical Therapy in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the military for 12 years before settling in Montana and subsequently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves. Montana Physical Therapy was established in 1991 with the clinic motto: “The difficult we do immediately, impossible takes a little longer.” Lance is very familiar with the impossible as he was diagnosed with a fatal and incurable condition upon his return from “Operation Desert Storm” in 1991. Although the condition was resolved “miraculously” it left lance with a firm conviction that the body has amazing self healing powers if we give it the right ingredients to work with. In 2004 he published the book and companion video, “Fibromyalgia-Keys to Recovery” which describes the path to recovery for patients with Fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Lance has taken over 100 continuing education courses in orthopedic physical therapy, sports medicine, myofascial, neuro rehabilitation, etc. with a special emphasis in manual therapy treatment techniques for these conditions.

He and his wife, Bonnie, have 7 children and 29 grandchildren.
Lance continues to be active in outdoor adventures including hiking, kayaking, X-C skiing, biking and running. He attributes much of his skill and experience as a therapist to lessons learned while recovering from his own injuries from outdoor adventure activities.

Family and church activities, camping, hiking, cross country skiing, swimming, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, and photography.
